The A3 has run across three generations on sale in the UK — the 8P, 8V and 8Y — and each has measurably different floor geometry. The 8Y (2020 onwards) introduced a new platform and the floor dimensions changed accordingly. Saloon and Sportback body types share the same front mats but differ in the rear and boot.
